In recent years China has loaned money to many African nations. To better understand this important topic, researchers at the John Hopkins University SAIS China-Africa Initiative compiled a dataset showing where these loans have gone, when they were given, their associated industries, their purposes, and amounts. Schema collaborated closely with their team to design and build a website to visualize this data. The site includes interactive maps and lists that allow researchers and the public to discover patterns, access specific information, and download data.
